Editing session 1

Matt and I uploaded the footage from my phone to Final Cut Pro X. As we have not used the Apple Macs in over a year we encounter some issues. Some of the files we attempted to upload were corrupted and as a result some footage we lost. The files that did successfully upload to the Mac were placed into a easily accesable folder, Matt and I then transferred the contents of the file to Final Cut Pro X.  With the footage on the editing software all we needed was the song our choice, "Firestarter" - Torre Florim. I downloaded the track from a music store and uploaded it to Final Cut Pro X ready to use. With the backing song uploaded I collected the first clips of the initial scene of Alfie sat on the stage. We created the first minute of the music video and Matt and I discussed which affect to use over the clips. Due to the graininess of the footage we thought it would be best to make it monochrome. We then both took it in turns to match the song to the lip syncing as we spread out the amount of editing evenly.
